NjordLINK+ NMEA 2000 Cloud Gateway
NjordLINK securely connects your boat’s NMEA 2000 network to the cloud for an exciting range of applications, real-time monitoring, historical data analysis and remote diagnostics. Think it and the Njord cloud can deliver it!
In today’s connected world, your house, car, and smart devices ping data to the cloud for monitoring, control and peace of mind – and even diagnostics such as service requirements or software updates. But how about your boat?
Now there’s a solution – NjordLINK takes an innovative, universal, and low-cost approach – yet still delivers the best in encryption, privacy, and a new generation of applications.
NjordLINK brings ALL your boat’s NMEA 2000 data to the secure Njord cloud and opens your boat to the world of Njord apps and connectivity. It also works with any format of internet connection, from a WiFi hotspot, 4G/5G on board systems, or Starlink.
It’s a new concept in marine technology, so you’ll see the platform quickly evolve – but start thinking about boating differently, from smart anchoring, historical analysis, and predictive maintenance for engines and advanced AI. If you think it, the Njord cloud can do it!
It doesn’t need expensive, custom sensors as it connects to industry-standard NMEA 2000 systems and utilises that data to give you granular information with regular updates as you decide.
Plus! NjordLINK is bi-directional, so cloud apps can send data back to the boat. For instance, electrical switching, messaging, or alerting.
Connect your NMEA 2000 devices and network to the cloud and take advantage of remote monitoring, historical analysis, new applications, and AI thanks to the Njord cloud.
Features:
- NjordCloud is the backbone of the connectivity solution – all boat NMEA data is securely saved and available for applications, analysis, diagnostics, and control
- NjordCloud is bi-directional too, so you can easily send data or commands to your boat network, and also generate alerts from boat information to create a phone/email alert
- Get online and connected in minutes with our free NjordLINK app
- Customizable apps for boat builders, equipment manufacturers, and organizations to create the platform you need for your users
- Simple APIs and programming scripts for developers – imagine it, Njord Cloud enables it!
Applications:
- Universal – Fits any NMEA 2000 system and brings ALL your boat data to the Njord platform. NjordLINK will connect to any internet solution you have on board – hotspot, 4G/5G system, or Starlink/satellite
- Simple Install – Use the NjordLINK app to set up your cloud service and account
- Secure – Encrypted end-to-end data ensures your privacy
- Applications – Rethink boating with apps such as AnchorSafe and 100s more to come
- Boat Owners – Peace of mind, 24×7 monitoring of your boat and next-generation navigation and utility applications
- Developers – App development made easy with an open-source library and easy coding
- Boat Builders – Fit to every boat and create your dedicated platform of connected boats for exceptional service capability
- Equipment Manufacturers – Bring your systems to the cloud for remote diagnostics, updates, and applications
NjordLINK Apps & Cloud:
The NjordLINK app is free on your app store and gets your account created and your NjordLINK device connected in seconds.
The app provides a simple chart and data display page showing the boat’s current position, course, speed, and depth information from your boat’s NMEA 2000 network, so you can always get reassurance of your boat’s current status.
The data display provides additional information showing which NMEA 2000 device is providing data.
As apps develop, you’ll be able to access them via this platform or the web.
Unlike many systems, your boat data is end-to-end encrypted, and you can decide who has access from friends and family, fellow boaters or technicians, and service agents.
Installation:
- NjordLINK is very simple to install
- Fits in seconds – just “T” into the NMEA 2000 backbone and it’s self-powered from the network, so no other connections required
- NjordLINK creates a local wifi hotspot so you can configure it using your phone or tablet and then connect to your boat’s internet network
- Any internet connection is fine from a simple phone or mifi hotspot, a dedicated 4G/5G router, or a Starlink/satellite system – there’s no need for an additional or proprietary data plan
- NjordLINK reliably gets a connection to the cloud whenever available and reconnects seamlessly if a connection is lost

At BOLD MARINE, we work to process and ship orders as quickly and reliably as possible. Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times vary depending on product availability, package size, destination, and the shipping method selected at checkout.
Order Processing
Orders for in-stock products are generally processed within one business day. Orders placed after the daily processing cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Certain products may require additional handling time due to their size, weight, availability, shipping restrictions, or manufacturer requirements.
Product Availability
Products listed as in stock are subject to availability at the time the order is processed. If an item becomes unavailable, is placed on backorder, or requires additional processing time, BOLD MARINE will provide an update as soon as possible.
Shipping Methods and Charges
Available shipping methods and applicable charges are displayed during checkout whenever possible. Shipping options may include economy, standard, expedited, overnight, freight, or other specialized services.
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors that may include:
- Shipping destination
- Selected delivery method
- Product weight and dimensions
- Number of shipments required
- Oversized or freight classification
- Hazardous-material requirements
- Special handling or delivery services
Promotional or flat-rate shipping offers may be subject to product, destination, weight, size, or service restrictions.
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience and begin after the order has been processed and accepted by the shipping carrier.
Delivery delays may occur because of weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, high shipping volume, remote delivery locations, customs processing, product restrictions, or other circumstances outside the control of BOLD MARINE.
BOLD MARINE is not responsible for carrier delays after an order has been transferred to the shipping provider.
Partial Shipments and Backorders
Orders containing multiple products may be shipped in separate packages or from different locations. Products that are available may ship before backordered or temporarily unavailable items.
When an order is divided into multiple shipments, each shipment may have its own tracking number and delivery date. Additional shipping charges may apply when separate shipments are requested or required.
Ship Complete Requests
When available, customers may request that an order ship only after all products are ready. Selecting this option may delay the entire order until every item is available.
If a ship-complete request is not made, available products may be shipped first, with remaining products sent separately as they become available.
Oversized and Freight Shipments
Products that exceed standard carrier size or weight limits may require delivery by less-than-truckload freight or another specialized freight service.
Freight charges vary based on the product, destination, and delivery requirements. BOLD MARINE may contact the customer before shipment to confirm the following information:
- Whether the delivery address is residential or commercial
- The complete and accurate delivery address
- A valid telephone number for delivery coordination
- Whether a loading dock or forklift is available
- Whether liftgate service is required
- Whether appointment delivery or other special services are needed
Additional charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access locations, appointment delivery, redelivery, address corrections, storage, or other services provided by the freight carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the delivery location can safely receive the shipment.
Hazardous Materials
Certain batteries, chemicals, paints, fuels, pressurized products, and other regulated items may be classified as hazardous materials.
Hazardous-material products may be restricted to ground transportation and may not qualify for expedited, air, international, or certain destination-based shipping services. Additional handling charges and carrier restrictions may apply.
Signature Requirements
A delivery signature may be required for certain high-value, restricted, oversized, or freight orders. Customers may also be able to request signature confirmation for an additional charge.
Order Tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available after the order has shipped. Tracking activity may take time to appear in the carrier’s system.
Orders containing multiple products may generate more than one tracking number.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including apartment, suite, unit, dock, marina, or business information when applicable.
Contact BOLD MARINE immediately if an address correction is needed. Once an order has entered processing or has been transferred to the carrier, we may be unable to modify or redirect the shipment.
Additional fees resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, unsuccessful delivery attempt, or carrier redirection may be charged to the customer.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipments
Inspect all packages promptly upon delivery. If a package arrives visibly damaged, note the damage with the carrier before accepting the shipment whenever possible.
Contact BOLD MARINE Customer Support promptly if your order is damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or appears to be missing. Please retain the product, shipping carton, packaging materials, shipping label, and all included components while the claim is reviewed.
Photos of the product and packaging may be required to process a shipping claim or replacement request.
Refused and Undeliverable Shipments
Orders refused without prior authorization or returned as undeliverable may be treated as an unauthorized return. Original shipping charges, return shipping costs, carrier fees, and applicable restocking fees may be deducted from any approved refund.
International Shipping
International shipping availability depends on the product, destination, carrier, and applicable export or manufacturer restrictions.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, the customer is responsible for applicable duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, import permits, and other destination-related expenses. Customs processing may delay delivery.
No In-Store Pickup
BOLD MARINE does not offer in-store pickup or accept walk-in orders. All orders are shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout.
Contact Us
If you have questions about shipping availability, oversized products, freight delivery, hazardous materials, or a pending order, please contact BOLD MARINE Customer Support before placing your order.
At BOLD MARINE, we want to make the return process as clear and straightforward as possible. All returns are subject to the eligibility requirements and procedures outlined below.
20-Day Return Period
Eligible products may be returned within 20 days from the date the order is received.
To qualify for a return, products must be unused, complete, in resalable condition, and returned in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, hardware, documentation, and included components.
Return Authorization Required
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns.
Do not ship a product back until you have received an RMA number and return instructions from BOLD MARINE. Unauthorized returns may be refused, delayed, returned to the sender, or deemed ineligible for credit.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, contact BOLD MARINE Customer Support and provide the following information:
- Your BOLD MARINE order number
- The product or products you wish to return
- The quantity being returned
- The reason for the return
- Photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label when requested
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide an RMA number, the correct return address, and the applicable shipping instructions.
Return Shipping
Approved returns may need to be shipped to a designated distributor, warehouse, or manufacturer. Use only the return address included in your RMA instructions. Products sent to BOLD MARINE or another location without authorization may be delayed, refused, or returned to the sender.
Unless the return is caused by an incorrect product, shipping error, or another issue confirmed to be the responsibility of BOLD MARINE, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining the tracking information until the return has been completed. BOLD MARINE is not responsible for return shipments lost or damaged in transit.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, depending on the product, its condition, and the applicable distributor or manufacturer requirements.
When possible, any applicable restocking fee will be communicated during the return authorization process.
Non-Returnable Products
The following products are not eligible for return:
- Non-stock, special-order, or custom-order products
- Products identified as final sale or non-returnable
- Products that are used, installed, altered, damaged, incomplete, or no longer in resalable condition
- Products missing their original packaging, accessories, manuals, hardware, documentation, or included components
- Opened or unsealed DVDs and CDs, unless defective
- Opened or unsealed cartography products, unless defective
- Products returned without an authorized RMA number
Defective Products and Warranty Service
Products requiring warranty service, technical support, or repair may need to be returned directly to the manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty procedures.
Contact BOLD MARINE Customer Support before returning a defective product. We will review the request and provide the appropriate instructions. Warranty eligibility, available remedies, and processing times are determined by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Return Inspection and Refunds
All returned products are subject to inspection before a refund or credit is approved. Products that do not meet the requirements of this policy may be refused or returned to the customer.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fees, return shipping costs, or other authorized deductions. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from an error confirmed to be the responsibility of BOLD MARINE.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the product, financial institution, and return destination.
If you believe a product is defective, please contact BOLD MARINE before returning it. We will help identify the appropriate next step, which may include manufacturer warranty support.
Incorrect, Damaged, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or contains an incorrect product, please contact BOLD MARINE as soon as possible.
Please keep all original packaging and shipping materials and provide photos of the package and product when requested. This information may be required to process a shipping claim, replacement, or return.
Refunds
Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received, inspected, and approved by the applicable fulfillment partner.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error for which BOLD MARINE or its fulfillment partner is responsible.
Please allow additional processing time after the return is delivered for inspection and approval.
Exchanges
Because product availability may change and orders may be fulfilled from different distribution locations, we generally process product changes as a return of the original item and a new order for the replacement product.
Please contact us before placing a replacement order if you need help confirming compatibility or selecting the correct item.
Important Notice About Direct Fulfillment
BOLD MARINE works with third-party distributors and manufacturers to offer a broad marine product catalog. As a result, return addresses, eligibility requirements, restocking fees, and warranty procedures may vary by product.
Always contact BOLD MARINE before returning any merchandise so we can provide the correct instructions for your specific order.
